The Rain Check, Solved. Meet the "Auto-Reset."
11/30/2025

It’s raining. Hard.
You are the organizer. It's 4:00 PM. The run starts at 6:00 PM.
The decision is yours. Do you tough it out? Or do you call it off? You dread sending the text because you know what happens next.
The Old Way (The Stress Way)
You wait until the last minute. Finally, you type "CANCELLED" in the group chat.
Here is where the chaos starts:
- The Missed Text: Half the group is already driving and doesn't see the notification. They show up to an empty parking lot.
- The Zombie Cancellation: The other half sees the text. But next week, they get confused. They scroll up, see "CANCELLED," and assume the whole club has folded.
- The Pinned Post Trap: You forget to unpin the cancellation message. Suddenly, nobody shows up for a month.
Stale Data kills attendance.
The Sportly Way: The Toggle
We built the Status Toggle specifically for this moment. It is the core of our "Digital Pinboard."
When you need to cancel, you don't rewrite your schedule. You don't delete the event. You just flip the switch on that specific session.
- Green: It's ON.
- Red: It's OFF (Cancelled).
Your members click your link. They see a big red "OFF." They go back to their warm couch.
Here is the Magic Part
The problem with most websites or Facebook posts is that you have to remember to update them again when the sun comes out.
Sportly cleans up after you.
At midnight, the toggle Auto-Resets.

Reliability = Trust
This simple feature solves the "Zombie Cancellation" problem.
You cancel today's run. You don't have to remember to "uncancel" it for next week.
When your members know the link is always live, always accurate, and never stale, they stop texting you. They just check the link.
One click. Zero confusion.
